Description: World War II Days includes elaborate and realistic battles complete with tanks, artillery, armored vehicles, and exciting pyrotechnic displays. Saturday the battle shows are featured at 1:30pm and 3:30pm. Sunday the battle time is 2:30pm. Maps of the event site will be available when visitors arrive showcasing the battlefield and the various encampments and attractions. This is the largest World War II era re-enactment in the United States with over 800 uniformed re-enactors attending along with dozens of vintage tanks and other 1940s era military vehicles. A 1940s USO-style dance is set for 7 pm Saturday in the museum's main building. The dance is free. Please, do not bring personal golf carts. An event shuttle is available for guests including a wagon ride to and from the parking lots and battlefield and several passenger golf carts in the historical village.

Directions: From I-90 and E. State St. (U.S. Business 20): Go west on E. State to Perryville Rd. Turn right (north) on Perryville to Guilford Rd. (about 1 mile). Turn left (west) on Guilford Rd. to museum entrance on south side of street. From the south: I-39 to I-90 (north, toward Wisconsin) and proceed as above. From IL 251 or IL 2 and Business U.S. 20: Go east on Business 20 to Mulford Rd. Turn left (north) on Mulford to Guilford and turn right (east). Look for the signature Millhouse by the entrance gate.
